Description
The contract concerns the supply and delivery of life-saving medical equipment and vehicles within the framework of the Heart Safe CBA project, implemented under the Interreg VI-A IPA CBC GreeceโNorth Macedonia Programme. The subject of the contract includes the procurement of 18 (eighteen) fully automatic Public Access Defibrillators (mobile AED devices), 6 (six) semi-automatic defibrillators, and 6 (six) ECG (electrocardiograph) machines, as well as other specific medical and training equipment necessary for the implementation of capacity-building and community training activities. In addition, the contract covers the supply of 4 (four) vehicles intended to support project implementation, field operations, and emergency response coordination within the eligible cross-border area. All equipment and vehicles must be new, unused, CE-certified where applicable, and compliant with relevant EU standards and medical device regulations. The contractor shall ensure delivery, installation where required, testing, commissioning, and provision of basic operational training for the end users, as well as warranty and after-sales service. The overall objective of this contract is to strengthen emergency preparedness, improve access to early defibrillation, and enhance institutional and community capacities for effective cardiovascular emergency response.
